Flaw 26: Girl Scouts camp threatened by large M37 subdivision

South of Springfield in Lane county, the local Girl Scouts organization is concerned that the rural character of their camp (in use since 1961) where scouts learn about wildlife and forest management will be spoiled by a neighboring Measure 37 residential subdivision on 158 acres of farmland. In a letter to the state, the executive director of the local Girl Scouts wrote that a large subdivision on the border of their camp will increase security risks to campers and threaten the water supply of the camp’s private well.
