Flaw 30: Oregon’s scenic vistas marred by unregulated billboards

Measure 37 has unleashed dozens of billboard claims, including at least 54 claims for signs around the Portland metro area. A 76-foot tall double billboard has already been erected along Highway 26 between Gresham and Sandy as the result of a Measure 37 claim. Commenting on the situation, Sandy Mayor Linda Malone said "I don’t think this is what voters had in mind when they passed Measure 37."
