Flaw 36: Measure 37 sprawl around Astoria

Astoria is known for its historic charm and beautiful surroundings, but a number of Measure 37 claims around the city could change that. There are seven claims south of Astoria across Youngs Bay for subdivisions and industrial uses. These claims total 578 acres and a minimum of 280 residential lots (only four of these claims specify the number of lots). In addition, three of the claims also seek industrial uses.
